REDUCE USE OF NATURAL RESOURCES
Our products are made with at least 50% recycled materials. We will continue to evaluate ways to increase our use of recycled materials, while maintaining high-quality products. In 2010, BlueAvocado products have eliminated more than 20 million plastic bags from the waste stream, avoided 1 million pounds of carbon dioxide emissions, and upcyled up to 277 thousand plastic bottles through our fabric.
PACKAGING
We have worked to minimize or eliminate packaging where possible, while still meeting the needs of our customers. Our product's paper packaging is made of at least 100% recycled material.
CLOSED LOOP
We have committed to accepting our used products and recycling the product for use in future generation materials.
